The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated a 180-day transition period on October 21, 2024, to facilitate importers’ adaptation to the CARM Client Portal and allow time to secure the required financial security.
The CBSA is reminding importers to provide the financial security requirement to continue to benefit from the Release Prior Payment (RPP) program prior to end of the CARM transition period on April 19, 2025.
