After the Wedding Band and the Engagement Ring, the next most important ring that a couple will buy is the Anniversary Ring. What is an Anniversary Ring? It is probably best explained by the advertising slogan developed by DeBeers in the latter part of the 20th century, “Tell her you’d marry her all over again!” 

The Anniversary Band is symbolic of the wedding promise and celebrates the enduring and shared love and commitment of the couple. There is no particular etiquette describing the ideal time to present an Anniversary Band on a milestone anniversary such as the 10th, 15th, 20th, or 25th anniversary. Others choose a random anniversary, special occasion or Holiday to acknowledge their devotion. 

Anniversary Rings come in many designs. For example, an Eternity Ring is a complete circle of diamonds and/or other precious gems. A Half-Eternity Ring is a half circle of stones. Anniversary Bands may be a thinner band that can be worn next to a bridal set on the left hand or a more substantial ring worn independently on the right hand. An excellent example of a right-hand ring would be the three-stone diamond ring, representing one stone for your past, one for your present and one for your future.
