SUMMARY
The Brand Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping, maintaining and communicating the image and identity of all company brands. This role will strategize and execute marketing initiatives, across all channels, that clearly communicate brand values, mission, and products to our target audiences. The goal of this role is to build brand equity, drive consumer engagement, conversion, and loyalty by leveraging market research, creative campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of 2 marketing professionals.
• Localize each brand’s unique value proposition to resonate with the target audience and distinguish the brand from competitors.
• Collaborate with sales and product planning teams to develop, prioritize, and deploy key growth initiatives within targeted audience segments.
• Collaborate with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure that initiatives are aligned.
• Develop and maintain unique sources of market intelligence for target audiences, including segment-specific size, short- and long-term trends, technology drivers and potential disruptors, and proxies for leading/lagging indicators.
• Develop and cultivate relationships and networks with journalists, influencers, and media stakeholders in the industry.
• Provide marketing leadership focused on driving sales growth through targeted campaigns and omni channel campaigns to support growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with the product planning team to create and execute commercial launch plans and necessary content to support the launch of new products.
• Provide training, and support on marketing initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of precision marketing initiatives, using metrics to assess performance and make data-driven adjustments.
• Continuously enhance and optimize campaigns to reflect changes in branding, product features, and market demands.
• Develop and adhere to marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI with monthly presentation to management.
• Leverage business intelligence and data analytics in all aspects of the role.
• Prepare monthly activity reports and present to management.
• Enforce brand guidelines across all company initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
• Analyze data and derive actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and present to management in an organized and easy to interpret manner
• Assist the Director and Vice President roles in preparing and disseminating marketing initiatives as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field, master’s degree in a related field a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or comparable role within the consumer goods industry.
• Innovative thinking and ability to design engaging campaigns and marketing strategies.
• Must possess the ability to articulate and educate about marketing initiatives and requirements.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, project management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience in SAP S4/Hana public cloud would be an asset.
• Ability to negotiate effectively to secure optimal product placement. Negotiations will be with suppliers, retail partners, and other departments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
• Ability to pivot strategies based on market feedback and changing consumer trends.
• A polished professional appearance and attitude as this role interacts with vendors and retail partners.
• Must have excellent English and French language skills, both written and spoken. The ability to write and articulate clearly is a must. Requires proficiency in crafting persuasive messaging and building relationships with retail partners.
• Must be a quick learner, proactive, and enjoy a busy environment.
• Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility in terms of hours of work, recognizing that there will be a need for overtime.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Probation Period: 3 months
Vacation: 2 weeks
Benefits: After passing probation, company paid except LTD

Location: Onsite at Markham office 5 days a week, no hybrid, no remote
