Prestigious Vancouver workshop seeking full-time Master Goldsmith with 10+ years' experience to join our award-winning team.
Candidate will be preferably European-trained in all areas of advanced hand-fabricated jewellery production. Must be able to work from our designers’ concepts and sketches.
Candidates must have accreditation from a reputable institute and/or apprenticeship with a master jeweller. The ideal candidate will have professional knowledge working with gold, platinum and silver as well as precious gemstones.
Interpersonal communication skills and willingness to work in a team setting is essential.
Compensation is based on experience and includes paid vacation and extended health benefits.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Repair jewellery by replacing broken clasps, altering ring sizes or resetting stones
Record completed work, ensure system is updated and that client bag is stored in the correct location
Compute the costs of labour and material for new pieces
Prepare estimated (or support the preparation of estimated) for repairs
Coordinate the drop off/ delivery of repairs from other stores/manufacturers
Change batteries or other on-demand client service requests
Shape metal to hold the gems when making individual pieces
Create jewellery from gold, silver and precious gemstones on specific direction
Solder pieces together and insert stones
Clean and polish jewellery as needed
Create custom orders at the request of the CEO
Follow security policies
Requirements:

our Truro location.
