We are currently looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and outgoing Jewellery Sales Associate with experience in a retail industry to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage with customers to assist them with their needs
Provide knowledge and information when presenting merchandise
Process transactions accurately through a POS (Point of Sale) system
Enter new products and repairs into an inventory database
Have knowledge in social media and current trends
Answer and make phone calls to respond to customer queries
Pay close attention to detail when taking in repairs

Qualifications:
2+ years in the jewellery industry
2+ years experience in the retail industry
Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills to complete daily tasks efficiently
Knowledge in social media and digital marketing
Familiar with Microsoft Word to produce administrative documents and in-store signage
Ability to manage time wisely and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Job Opportunity
We are looking for an organized and self motivated Jewellery store Administrator who has excellent communication and computer skills. The right candidate will have a natural sense of organization, will work professionally within a team environment and will have an educated understanding of jewellery manufacturing. This person must be loyal and trustworthy and will have a sense of in store vigilance. They will eventually be comfortable with opening and closing procedures. Responsibilities
A jewellery store administrator will provide office management support which includes:
Receiving and directing telephone calls.
Communication with suppliers and jewellery manufactures.
Sourcing, pricing and processing job orders for both ready made jewellery and custom designs.
Quality control of all repairs, custom design orders and watch repairs.
Following in store protocols regarding file systems, inventory upkeep, donations and customer service.
Setting up and taking down jewellery store showcases.
Keeping the company address book up-to-date and in working order ie. email blasts and social media.
Upkeep of jewellery appraisal database.

Perform administrative tasks relevant to repair work, documenting progress and following up with colleagues as necessary.
Assist customers when picking up completed repairs, answering any questions and processing payment.
Utilize repair knowledge to promote sales when applicable.
Work within a team to complete tasks associated with store presentation and jewellery display.
Communicate professionally in person, by email and by phone.
Enter POS transactions accurately.
Stay informed of store policies, procedures, and promotions.
